I started pottery for the express purpose of creating planters for quirky plants, specifically cacti, succulents and plants with strong, architectural lines.  There’s a lot of freedom in creating planters with colour, texture and combining ceramic techniques, slab building, coiling and throwing then adding quirky attachments, as if they are made to pair with certain plants, that’s the intention.
